E-mobility case study competition for master’s students

How will e-mobility change supply chain in the automotive industry? Master’s students from Europe and China will tackle this topic in the 4flow challenge 2019.

“The students will take on current and highly relevant issues that vehicle manufacturers face in the transition from internal combustion engines to electric drive systems,” said Dr. Stefan Wolff, CEO of 4flow. “We look forward to seeing a variety of outstanding approaches to the tasks in the challenge, and we are very excited about this year’s first-ever inclusion of teams from China in the competition.”

Using a case study, participants in the 4flow challenge must develop a supply chain concept in English. The teams with the most impressive submissions will be invited to the competition finals at 4flow’s headquarters in Berlin, Germany, on June 13 and 14, 2019. The students will then present their concepts to a panel of experienced supply chain consultants, and the top three teams will receive prizes totaling €10,000. “For a student, it’s like stepping right into the shoes of a consultant. And what I really found interesting was seeing how the other teams approached the case.” said Denis Reinhold, former 4flow challenge finalist. The supply chain case study competition is now in its fourth year, and for the first time ever, teams from China are also eligible to participate.

Teams consisting of 3 to 4 master’s students, preferably with a concentration in supply chain or logistics, can submit their applications for the 4flow challenge up until March 10, 2019. Read more about the 4flow challenge and how to register.
