Women in supply chain making connections
On October 23, 2024, a total of 49 women from academia and business came together to connect in a relaxed atmosphere at the second 4flow networking event for women in supply chain in Germany. The event took place on the first evening of the BVL Supply Chain CX event in Berlin.
Three experts kicked off the event by sharing insights into their work. Susanne Gillig, doctoral candidate and research assistant at the Kühne Logistics University, focused on the challenges of supplying goods in rural areas. Paula Wienecke, team lead sustainability and digitalization at Mercedes-Benz, spoke on the sustainable design of transportation networks. And Prof. Dr. Carola Schulz, professor of supply chain management at Heilbronn University, shared essential skills for the supply chain professionals of tomorrow.
With this networking event for women in supply chain, 4flow offers a platform for inspiring conversations, knowledge exchange and networking. We’re looking forward to next year’s event and seeing many new and familiar faces.
