Change to supervisory board

Dr. Tanja Wielgoss appointed to 4flow supervisory board

An agile executive joins 4flow for global future development

On September 26, 2022, Dr. Tanja Wielgoss was named the newest member of the 4flow supervisory board. The accomplished executive is taking over for Dr. Hans-Robert Greim, who held the position for ten years. Effective immediately, she joins the three-member supervisory board alongside chairman Dr. Stefan Wolff and Christian Berner.

“We would like to thank Dr. Greim for his tireless support over the past decade and wish him all the best,” said Dr. Stefan Wolff, reflecting on the cooperation.

4flow is excited to welcome Dr. Tanja Wielgoss, an exemplary agile executive and consultant. In addition to serving as managing director and board member of the Association of German Airlines (Bundesverband der Deutschen Fluggesellschaften or BDF), Dr. Wielgoss was a partner of the globally active strategy consultancy Kearney, where she was responsible for efficiency improvements and client-focused projects in transportation, logistics and infrastructure, as well as large transformation programs. Additionally, Dr. Wielgoss set Berlin Waste Management and City Cleaning (Berliner Stadtreinigung or BSR) on a course of growth as CEO. From 2019 until summer 2022, she served as CEO of the German energy company Vattenfall Wärme, where she successfully modernized its operational business. At Vattenfall she was responsible for the entire value chain, from production to delivery to sales. Significantly, she advanced the strategy to achieve carbon neutrality by 2040. Dr. Wielgoss serves on numerous advisory and supervisory boards and assures a close exchange between academia and industry as a member of the board of trustees at the Technical University of Berlin.

The 4flow team is delighted by the new addition to the supervisory board: “As an agile executive and consultant with an international perspective, Tanja Wielgoss is enormously skilled and brings with her a great wealth of experience in a wide variety of industries”, said Dr. Stefan Wolff. “I observed with great respect how she successfully developed Vattenfall Wärme into a smart system provider with a focus on climate neutrality. She is our absolute top pick to shape 4flow’s continued success.”
