Magna, a leading brand-independent automotive engineering and parts manufacturing business, optimized its inbound supply chain at a manufacturing plant in a recent project with 4flow.

The project involved implementing the 4flow iTMS, an integrated end-to-end transportation management software solution, to enable Magna to respond with agility to any sorts of unexpected changes in manufacturing demand. Magna can now adjust deliveries to meet the real needs in manufacturing.

The solution rollout was carried out in waves, with more and more suppliers and carriers integrated into the 4flow iTMS in each step.

The results include significant reductions in transportation spend, number of shipments, trucks on the road and carbon emissions.
