4flow challenge Hungary – supply chain innovators competition

Case study competition for students at Hungarian universities

How can FMCG businesses strike the right balance between cost-efficient practices, product integrity and sustainability goals? Which optimized strategies will help businesses to quickly adapt to changing conditions, stay ahead the competition and deliver on their quality promise? This will be the focus of the 4flow challenge Hungary – supply chain innovators competition, for bachelor’s and/or master’s students studying at Hungarian universities. Cash prizes will be given to the top placed teams.

In cooperation with MLBKT (Hungarian Association of Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management), the supply chain innovators competition is open to teams of 3 to 4 bachelor’s and/or master’s students studying at universities in Hungary, ideally with a concentration in supply chain or logistics. The competition is designed to allow participants to explore real-world challenges and apply critical problem solving in logistics and supply chain management.

Cash prizes await the top three teams: the first placed team will receive 500,000 HUF, the second placed team will receive 300,000 HF and the third placed team will receive 100,000 HF. The deadline for applications is October 1, 2023 and the competition will begin on October 2, 2023 when the case study task is communicated. The best teams will be invited to the competition finals on November 16, 2023 at La Vida DUNA Rendezvényház in Budapest. The winners will be announced on the day of the finals.

During the competition finals, participants will have the opportunity to network with experienced supply chain professionals onsite. From this experience, they will get a realistic impression of what it’s like to work at 4flow as a supply chain analyst, as well as the opportunity to talk to experienced 4flowers about career opportunities, while networking with other students.
